Biography:
Jan Bolting received a Diploma in aerospace engineering at University of Braunschweig, Institute of Technology
in Braunschweig, Germany in 2014, and a PhD degree in control theory and embedded systems at ISAE-SUPAERO in
Toulouse, France in 2017.
His research is focused on multi-sensor localization, fast set membership
estimation algorithms, and their application to cooperative motion strategies such as aircraft formation
flight and automatic aerial refueling and precise localization of ground vehicles.
Research Topics: Multi-sensor (Inertial-GNSS-Machine Vision) precise positioning leveraging
Galileo’s High Accuracy Service precise ephemeris for an urban 3D mapping application.
